IPSS Medical Rescue and IPSS Search & Rescue responded to a beach in Ballito for an injured surfer.
It is believed the surfer had fallen from a wave, leaving him seriously injured.
The surfer was stabilised on scene by IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby facility for the further care he required.
