Earlier this afternoon, just before 2 pm, Mi7 National Group's Emergency Medical Services was dispatched after reports of a collision on the N3 Southbound at Townhill.
Medics found that a light delivery vehicle, a Hyundai H100, had crashed up the centre median.
It was carrying at least 14 people, including young children.
Along with their counterparts from other service providers, Mi7 medics stabilized three patients with injuries ranging from moderate to minor.
They were then transported to hospital for further treatment.
The other passengers, including several young children, were lucky to escape injuries.
