IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of a man who jumped from a moving vehicle in the Mandeni area.
On arrival of paramedics, the 33-year-old male was found to have sustained head injuries and was in critical condition.
The man was stabilised on the scene by an IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support paramedic and transported to a nearby facility for further care.
The exact circumstances that led to the man jumping from the vehicle remain unknown at this stage.
