The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Springs Officers, responded to a collision on Tonk Meter road involving ten school children in the Springs area.
A scholar transport carrying ten school children was involved in a collision with a Hyundai Getz.
According to an eye witness, it is alleged that the scholar transport was overtaking due to traffic pile up and faced oncoming traffic, which collided into the Hyundai Getz in a head on collision.
The female driver of the Hyundai Getz sustained serious injuries, including the driver of the scholar transport.
The children were taken to N17 hospital for observation. No fatalities have been reported
