Suspects requested directions to the Verulam CBD prior to hijacking man of his bakkie in Trenance Park - KZN a short while ago (Tuesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) are currently (18:38) searching for a white Isuzu bakkie with registration BN66BJ-ZN that headed towards Inanda - KZN followed by a brown Datsun Go. According to the victim, he returned home after work and parked his bakkie on the pavement before opening the driveway gate.
The suspects in the Datsun Go stopped next to him as he got back into his vehicle. They requested the directions before one (1) of the males produced a firearm and instructed him to exit his vehicle. The bakkie is loaded with construction equipment. No injuries were reported.
