Multiple hijacked and stolen vehicles recovered during operations in and around the Central corridor .

In continued efforts to clamp down on vehicle-related crimes, members of the Gauteng Traffic Police and Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT (Central Corridor) , working with various law enforcement partners recovered multiple hijacked and stolen vehicles during operations in and around the Central corridor .

• A hijacked Nissan Almera was recovered on Indwa Street, Extension 2, Protea.

• A stolen Isuzu bakkie, taken during a house robbery in Freedom Park, was recovered following a high-speed chase through Soweto. The victim, who had been held hostage and tied up during the robbery, was rescued by officers and the vehicle recovered.

• A Volkswagen T-Cross, hijacked on Parkhill Road in Germiston, was also recovered during the operations.
