This morning, our Durban Metro Police Service Strike Team intercepted and stopped a white Toyota Corolla sedan that was travelling at high speed while illegally operating blue lights.
The driver was immediately arrested on the scene.
We remind the public that the use of blue lights without authorisation is a serious offence and poses a dangerous risk to other road users. Our members remain vigilant to ensure that only authorised emergency vehicles are allowed to operate warning lights.
