Two men were killed and four others injured after two vehicles collided on the N14 near the R55, near Diepsloot, North of Johannesburg.

When ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene, they found one vehicle in the middle isle of the road while the other was found amongst some bushes on the side of the road.

On inspection, paramedics found that three people had been inside each vehicle.

On assessment, paramedics found that two men, one from each vehicle, had sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Unfortunately nothing more could be done for the patients and they were declared dead on scene.

Four other patients were found on scene, two of them critically injured.

Paramedics treated the patients and provided them with advanced life support interventions.
