Minister Peters Tables 2016 Transport Budget Vote

Cape Town: Minister of Transport, Ms. Dipuo Peters, will table the Department’s Budget Vote in the New National Assembly Chamber, Cape Town on Tuesday, 10 May 2016.

The Minister will be joined, during the tabling, by Deputy Minister of Transport Ms. Sindisiwe Chikunga and CEOs of transport entities as well as key stakeholders in the transport sector.

As part of the Budget Vote Speech, Minister Peters will highlight the achievements and progress made by the Department in the carrying out of its mandate, will give an analysis and a review of Transport policies and programmes to date and going forward across all modes and also the challenges experienced in the transport sector.

Minister Peters will brief the media prior to the Budget Vote presentation as follows:
