Mpumalanga cash in transit heist leaves one dead three injured

At 09h52 on Friday morning Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a collision on the R538 close to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Reports from the scene indicate that it was an attempted cash in transit heist. Exact detail to the incident will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the vehicles at the side of the roadway. After triaging the injured, it was found that a security guard tragically died due to the extensive injuries he sustained, three other people were found to have sustained serious injuries.
Paramedics treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to hospital for further care.
