At approximately 09:25 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to Fairview Drive in Brindhaven after receiving reports of a woman attempting to commit suicide by running into the flow of traffic.

Upon arrival the 39 year old woman informed Officers that she had no desire to live any longer and wanted to end her life. While speaking to Officers the woman attempted to once again run into oncoming traffic. Reaction Officers restrained and removed her from the roadway.

Officers contacted her husband who arrived on scene and explained that his wife had been possessed by demonic spirits. She had attempted suicide previously and refused medical or spiritual assistance.
