Man seriously injured after alleged robbery in Heuweloord, Centurion

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left seriously injured this morning after he was robbed while jogging on a secluded road in Heuweloord, Centurion.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 11h00 after a good Samaritan found the man.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the man lying under a tree on the side of the road.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous, serious injuries.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a private hospital for further treatment.
The local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
