Motorised paraglider dies after fall in Centurion

A man, believed to be in his forties, died this morning when he was involved in a motorised paragliding crash in Centurion.
Shortly after 8.30am on Saturday morning, paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene in Centurion where they found the man near his paragliding gear on the airfield. He was assessed by paramedics which found that his vital signs rapidly deteriorated. Despite their efforts, they were unable to revive him and he was later declared dead on the scene.
Local authorities attended the scene and will investigate. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not known.

On Wednesday evening at approximately 17:43, the CERT Centurion crews responded to a motor vehicle collision on the R101 (Old Johannesburg Road), near Ruimte Road in Clubview, Centurion.

Emergency services were at a scene on Adderley Street this morning, 22 October, where a man allegedly ran into a truck.
According to an eyewitness at the scene, the man had been standing on the Avbob side of the road and apparently attempted to run back to the other side, colliding with the side of
