Bakkie rollover leaves four injured in Woodside

Four people were left injured this morning, including a 4-year-old girl, after a bakkie rolled and collided with two pedestrians along Otto Bluff Road in Woodside, Pietermaritzburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on this scene to find the bakkie on the side of the road. A mother and her 4-year-old girl were found on the side of the road.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that the mother and daughter had sustained moderate injuries while the two in the bakkie had sustained only minor injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
It is believed that the driver lost control of his vehicle, causing it to roll into the two pedestrians.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
