Taxi Crash leaves 12 injured on the M13 Durban Bound

Twelve people have been injured after two vehicles collided on the M13 Durban Bound at the bottom of Fields Hill just after 8am this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find one vehicle on its roof in the fast lane. It is alleged the vehicle was travelling up the M13 when it overturned onto the Durban Bound carriageway colliding into a taxi. Multiple people had been injured and immediately more ambulances as well as Advanced Life Support units were dispatched to assist. A total of twelve people had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
Metro Police were in attendance and will be investigating further.
