Bakkie overturns leaving sixteen injured in Ramokokastad

Sixteen people were left injured this morning when the bakkie they were travelling overturned on a dirt road outside of Ramokokastad in the North West.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 07h30 with the Provincial Services.
On scene, paramedics found several people seated along the roadside. The bakkie that they had been travelling in was now found on its roof amongst some bushes.
ER24 and Provincial paramedics quickly assessed the patients and found that sixteen people had sustained only minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were transported between both ER24 and Provincial Services to nearby Provincial Hospitals.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.

VR Medical responded to a serious vehicle collision involving a vehicle that had collided with a tree in Rose Avenue.
