Three security officers were injured last night in a shooting incident at a train depot in Krugersdorp.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find one security office inside and office while two others were found around the premises.

Medics assessed the men and found that all three had sustained gunshot wounds and were in a serious to critical condition.

Paramedics treated the patients and provided them with advanced life support interventions. Once stable, one man was airlifted by a private medical helicopter to a nearby hospital while the two others were transported by ambulance.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
