The joint team of Kimberley K9 and John Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) Crime Intelligence continued unabatedly to clamp down on drug dealers early this morning when they executed a search warrant in Olifantshoek.

The members executed a search warrant today at 04:50 at a house in Vink Street in Plakkieskamp settlement in Olifantshoek.

Upon searching the premises, the members found a male suspect with mandrax tablets, dagga and Tik valued at R1910-00 in a maroon jacket.

The estimated value of the mandrax and dagga is R5970-00.

A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged for dealing in dagga and suspected drugs and will soon appear in the Olifantshoek Magistrates court.

JTG District Commissioner, Major General Johan Bean once again commended the team for their determination in removing drugs from society and squeezing the space for drug dealers to operate.
