Car and bike collision leaves man seriously injured in Honeydew

A man in his 30s was left seriously injured this morning when a light motor vehicle and a motorbike on Boundry Road in Honeydew.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 09:03 to find both the vehicle and the motorbike parked on the side of the road. The biker, a man in his 30s, was found lying on the sidewalk near his bike, being treated by another service.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained injuries to his chest and face, leaving him in a serious condition.
The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
