Taxi and bakkie collide, leaving twelve injured in Roodepoort

This afternoon, twelve people were injured when a bakkie and a taxi collided on the Main Reef Road in Roodepoort.
ER24 and other services arrived shortly after 12h00 to find the bakkie and taxi in the left-hand lane. Several adults were seen along the side of the road.
Medics assessed the patients and found that twelve adults had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and later transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
