Robbery victim stabbed in Verulam CBD

A 21-year-old man was seriously injured after he was stabbed during a robbery on Ireland Street in the Verulam CBD - KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 08:46. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered the victim seated on the side of the road.
He was stabbed multiple times in his body. According to the victim, the suspect is a known drug user.
The man approached him on Todd Street near the railway line.
The suspect then produced a knife and repeatedly stabbed them before robbing them of R300.
The victim walked approximately one 1 kilometer before he collapsed.
The suspect thereafter fled on foot in an unknown direction.

On Sunday evening at approximately 20:40, the CERT Centurion crews responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a light motor vehicle and a minibus on the R55 near Stone Ridge in Centurion.
