This afternoon Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R33/R34 intersection for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived they found that two vehicles had been involved in a collision.
Paramedics quickly assessed a chaotic scene and found that two patients had sustained critical injuries, one patient had sustained serious injuries and three patients had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated and stabilized on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.
A specialized medical helicopter was activated to fly one of the critically injured patients to a specialised hospital in PMB.

On Saturday morning, IPSS Search & Rescue, NSRI and the KDM Lifeguards responded to Salmon Bay beach after receiving reports of man that had gotten into difficulty while swimming.
