RTI Officer seriously injured in a collision

Last night Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the N3 Market road for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived they found a heart wrenching scene where a fellow first responder from RTI was doing early warning for a truck that had broken down in the slow lane, when a second truck failed to stop and crushed the RTI vehicle between the two trucks.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that 1 patient had sustained serious injuries, and was trapped in the wreckage.
Paramedics together with PMB Fire and Rescue services worked to stabilize and extricate the fellow first responder.
The patient was transported to hospital for further treatment.
We would like to remind the public to slow down, increase following distance and drive respectfully when approaching scenes where emergency vehicles have emergency warning lights flashing.

VR Medical responded to a serious vehicle collision involving a vehicle that had collided with a tree in Rose Avenue.
Sadly, upon arrival, one patient was declared deceased at the scene. Mangaung Fire and Rescue was called to assist with the safe extraction of the patient from the wreckage.

On Wednesday evening at approximately 17:43, the CERT Centurion crews responded to a motor vehicle collision on the R101 (Old Johannesburg Road), near Ruimte Road in Clubview, Centurion.
