Man Critically Injured After Fall from 5th floor Umhlanga Apartment

A 39-year-old male has been left in a critical condition after falling from the fifth floor of his apartment building in the Umhlanga area, on Monday evening, 27 October 2025. 

KZNVIP Medics were dispatched to the scene following reports of the incident. Upon arrival, KZNVIP paramedics found the man lying on the ground floor of the apartment complex unable to move but responsive.

KZNVIP Medical teams stabilised the patient on scene before transporting him to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment. During transit, the patient’s condition deteriorated and advanced life support intervention was initiated.  

The circumstances leading up to the fall cannot be confirmed at this stage.
