One killed, 2 injured in a rollover crash on the N2 in the vicinity of King Shaka International Airport.

At approximately 10am multiple reports from various watsapp traffic groups were received for a accident on the N2 in the vicinity of King Shaka International Airport.
IPSS S&R TONGAAT Volunteers together with emergency services were dispatched and upon arrival found a single vehicle which had been traveling on the northbound lane had rolled multiple times before landing on the southbound lane. 2 patients which had suffered injuries ranging from moderate to serious were treated and stabilized by paramedics before being transported to hospital under Advanced Life Support(ALS) supervision. Unfortunately 1 person had suffered fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
At this stage the events leading up to the accidents is unknown and will be investigated by the SAPS. Thank you to IPSS Medical Rescue, Tongaat SAPS, RTI umdloti and IPSS S&R TONGAAT Volunteers for the quick response.
