Mandeni, N2 Southbound - collision leaves 4 critical

On Monday afternoon, IPSS Medical Rescue responded to a serious collision, involving 3 light motor vehicles on the N2 near Mandeni.
The collision left 3 people critically injured from the first vehicle, who were stabilised on scene and transported by EMRS.
The driver of the second vehicle, was found severely entrapped within the wreckage of his vehicle, in a critical condition. The patient was stabilised by IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support Paramedics, while Mandeni Fire Department works to extricate him from the wreckage.
The driver of the third vehicle sustained serious injuries.
Both patients were transported to nearby facilities under the care of IPSS Medical Rescue Advanced Life Support Paramedics.
