No Injuries After Taxi Overturns: KwaMashu - KZN

A white Toyota Quantum overturned onto its side on the central island of the M25 between Avoca Hills & KwaMashu - KZN today (Tuesday).
A member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was returning from an unrelated callout when he drove on the scene. Upon discovering occupants still trapped in the vehicle, the Officer immediately called for additional assistance. Reaction Officers were dispatched to the scene and found the minibus taxi lying on its side in the centre median. Both occupants were thereafter freed from the wreckage.
According to the driver, he was travelling in the right lane when a vehicle behind him accelerated, prompting him to do the same. The vehicle ahead then braked suddenly, causing him to lose control before the Toyota Quantum overturned.
Neither the driver nor his passenger sustained injuries.
