15 May 2026 | From Arrive Alive

Our law enforcement teams are on the ground 24/7, and today we share two cases where drivers chose speed and recklessness over safety.

*Waterberg District – Modimolle/N1 Sondela*

On 15 May 2026 at 06:35, a driver was stopped on the N1 near Sondela travelling at 194km/h in a 100km/h zone. The driver was arrested for excessive speeding. The case is registered at Bela Bela SAPS under case no. 128/05/2026.

*Capricorn District – Moletji Kwena Moloto*

On 14 May 2026, a minibus driver was arrested for reckless and negligent driving and failing to comply with a lawful instruction. The case is registered at Seshego SAPS under case no. 333/05/2026. The driver appeared in Seshego Magistrate Court and was released on a warning.

Speed and recklessness kill.

No journey is worth risking your life or the lives of others. Our message is clear: obey the speed limits, respect the law, and drive responsibly.

Our officers remain on high alert across all districts. If you break the law, you will be caught and face the consequences.
