Serious injuries reported following a single vehicle crash near the intersection of Dumisani Makhaye Drive and Malandela Road, in the vicinity of VN Naik School, on Thursday evening.
It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn several times before eventually landing back on its wheels. The vehicle sustained extensive damage during the crash.
KZN VIP Advanced Life Support medics were dispatched to the scene and immediately began stabilising the injured occupants. The patients were then rapidly transported to nearby medical facilities for the urgent medical care they required.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unknown. All relevant emergency services were in attendance.
