One person has tragically lost their life, while multiple others sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious following a taxi rollover on the N2 near Hibberdene.
KZN VIP Emergency Medical teams were dispatched after receiving multiple reports requesting additional medical assistance at the scene. Several occupants were reportedly ejected from the vehicle during the rollover.
RTI and other emergency services remain in attendance. The roadway is obstructed while emergency operations and investigations continue.
Motorists are urged to approach the area with caution and expect delays.
