Five Injured In Head-On Collision: Parkgate – KZN

Five (5) people, including two (2) minors, sustained minor to moderate injuries in a head-on collision between the vehicle they were travelling in and a minibus taxi on Tottenham Road in Parkgate – KZN this morning (Wednesday, 30/09/2026).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were attending to a separate motor vehicle collision on Neptune Drive in Mount Vernon - KZN when a passing motorist alerted them to the accident less than a kilometre away. After confirming that no injuries had been sustained at the first scene, First Responders proceeded to the second collision, arriving at approximately 06:58.
Paramedics from a private ambulance service were already in attendance and treating the injured. The five (5) patients were treated on scene before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further care.
