The operation was initiated following intelligence received regarding individuals allegedly involved in various crimes and in possession of motor vehicles sought by law enforcement authorities.

The team first proceeded to Ennerdale, where members spotted and stopped a Toyota Etios. Following verification, the vehicle was confirmed to be sought in connection with a theft case registered in Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal. One suspect was arrested.

The team proceeded to the N1 highway, where they located and stopped an Isuzu double-cab. Verification established that the vehicle was sought in connection with a case registered in Westonaria. One suspect was arrested.

The operation continued in Mondeor, Johannesburg South, where the team followed up on information regarding another sought motor vehicle. A Toyota Etios was located and stopped, and checks confirmed that it was sought in connection with a case registered in Honeydew.

During the operation, cellphones and suspected false vehicle registration plates were seized.

Further investigations are underway to establish possible links between the suspects and other criminal activities.
