Last night, Pretoria Volunteer Emergency Service (PVES) teams were dispatched to a serious motorcycle accident in the Hatfield area.
Upon arrival, responders found one patient in critical condition who had sustained multiple severe injuries.
The patient had suffered a severe abdominal injury requiring immediate medical attention. PVES responders promptly assessed the patient and provided emergency care while preparing for further medical assistance.
Shortly after the initial activation, a Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) ambulance arrived on scene. PVES and GPG personnel worked together to provide the patient with urgent care and facilitate the next stage of emergency management.
This incident highlights the importance of rapid response, effective teamwork, and cooperation between emergency services when dealing with life-threatening emergencies.
