Hijacked Tipper Truck Sought: Chatsworth – KZN

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) is seeking public assistance in locating a white Mercedes-Benz tipper truck that was hijacked in the Chatsworth area of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
The incident occurred on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at approximately 10:30. The driver was reportedly held captive until approximately 14:00.
The 2015 Mercedes-Benz Axor 1823 Tipper, bearing registration number CM30VG ZN, was last reportedly seen travelling in Chatsworth - KZN at around midday.
The truck is white, has no branding and has no known distinctive features or visible damage.
The vehicle is fitted with a tracking system. The tracker was reportedly removed and subsequently found lying on the road.

On Wednesday evening at approximately 17:43, the CERT Centurion crews responded to a motor vehicle collision on the R101 (Old Johannesburg Road), near Ruimte Road in Clubview, Centurion.
