Members of the Tshwane Flying Squad recovered a stolen motor vehicle, during crime prevention operations conducted in the Kameeldrift policing area, on Saturday.

On Saturday, at approximately 10:30, members of the Tshwane Flying Squad were conducting crime prevention and visible patrols in the Kameeldrift area, when they came across an abandoned black Nissan Navara at Leeuwfontein squatter camp.

Members checked the registration number fitted on the vehicle, and it was confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen at Pretoria Moot SAPS.

Members of the Local Criminal Record Centre (LCRC) attended the scene to conduct further investigations. The recovered vehicle was subsequently taken to the Pretoria West Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit (VCIU), where it was booked in under SAPS 13.
