Traffic Alert: Full Road Closure - Tour Durban Cycling Race

Please be advised that on Sunday, 27 April 2025, there will be full road closures from 03h30 until 14h00 to accommodate the Tour Durban Cycling Race. Affected routes are as follows:

• Masabala Yengwa Avenue:

Southbound lane closed from Kings Park to Sandile Thusi Road.

• Isaiah Ntshangase Road:

Closed in both directions from Masabala Yengwa Avenue to Ruth First Highway.

• Ruth First Highway (M4):

Closed in both directions from Sandile Thusi Road to Umdloti.

• M41:

Closed in both directions from M4 to Ridgeside Drive.

• Ridgeside Drive:

Northbound closure between the offramp from M41 and the onramp to M41.

• Sandile Thusi Road:

Westbound lane closed from Ruth First Highway to Masabala Yengwa Avenue.

• Battery Beach Road:

Closed at the swimming pool area with no access to or from Masabala Yengwa Avenue.

Motorists are urged to plan their trips accordingly and use alternative routes. Thank you for your cooperation and support in ensuring the success and safety of this event.
