Security official shot in Lotus Gardens in Pretoria West.

04 September 2024 | From Arrive Alive

On Wednesday afternoon, our Centurion crew responded to a distress call of a security official that was shot in Lotus Gardens in Pretoria west.

On arrival, our crew found the patient seated in his vehicle and in a critical condition after being shot in the head.

Immediately, life-saving measures were performed  to stabilise the patient, and a medical helicopter was called in to air lift the patient to a level one trauma facility.

Despite the valiant efforts by emergency care personnel to stabilise him, the patient sadly succumbed to his injuries before he could be airlifted to hospital.

We would like to extend our condolences to the colleagues and family and thank each and every emergency medical service, Security, and Law enforcement agency for assistance on the scene.
